How your money works

Simple: we never touch it.

Last updated 8 September 2026

Tomo helps you plan and find the right trip. When you're ready to book, you pay the travel provider directly — never Tomo.

  1. Tomo never holds your money

There's no Tomo checkout and no prepayment to us — your money never passes through Altitudes B.V. (the company behind Tomo). You book and pay on the provider's own site — the airline, the hotel, or a partner like Viator, GetYourGuide or Stay22.

  2. The provider is who you contract with

They are the licensed, regulated party you buy from. Payment, changes, cancellations and refunds all happen on their terms, with their protection.

  3. We may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you

When you book through a link in Tomo, the provider may pay us a small commission. Your price is exactly the same as booking direct.

  4. Your refund goes back to you

Any refund is handled by the provider, straight back to how you paid. We don't run a wallet or store credit that locks your money in.

  5. No badges we haven't earned

We only claim protections and memberships we actually hold. Today Tomo holds no travel-guarantee scheme membership — and because we never touch your money, your payment is protected by the provider you pay, not by us. Questions: hello@tomo.voyage.

Ready when you are.

That's the whole model. No fine print, no captive balance, no surprise fees from us.
